Training Policy - EDM 310

Value Statement: It is the mission of this course to prepare future teachers for the highly technical classrooms where they will work in the future. And to advance their understanding of the inexpensive availability of universally usable tools that will promote a high level of access to all students.

Belief Statement: We believe that having high quality tools that are used by more people will greatly benefit and enhance the experience for both teacher and student.

Action Statement: Therefore, this class will present experiences and require assignments that will maximize the use of software, media tools, and other materials that will benefit the most students in the least expensive way.

Technology is constantly changing and as future teachers you must be able to identify what is on the cutting edge and how you can apply the new technology to what you are doing in the classroom.
